An important parameter is the so-called color temperature. If it is equal to 2700 K, then there will be a warm white light, with an increase to 4200 K it becomes natural and a little less pleasant. Luminaires with a color temperature of 6400 K give cool white light, which is not very pleasant to many people. Be sure to ask the store to turn on the lamp and check if it does not create discomfort for the eyes.

If there is a suspended ceiling in the room, it is not recommended to use lamps that are more powerful than 50 watts (otherwise the fabric may melt).

Do not buy such lighting devices, the ceiling of which is directed upwards - this will lead to fading of the ceiling.

Decorative cups with sharp details, with cutting edges are also unacceptable.Immediately ask the seller whether the device case will not overheat during prolonged use.

When buying a lamp for the bathroom, take only devices with the highest levels of electrical safety. Learn about water resistance (need appliance class from IP65). Consider that such waterproof light sources are significantly more expensive than regular chandeliers. Choosing a lamp for the kitchen, you can somewhat reduce the level of protection against the ingress of water.
