Passion for exotic materials and designs is quite understandable. This allows you to "dilute" monotonous standardized interior expressive notes. But still it is necessary to take into account simple rules that will help avoid serious mistakes.

Rattan swings can be an attractive solution - but only if they are correctly fitted into the interior. And the first requirement is the formation of an unusual appearance of space. If there is just traditional furniture around, it’s not an interesting, but rather an absurd composition. Selection of a suitable environment can be difficult, but the result justifies all the effort invested.

A rattan swing with a sitting place is different:

• low weight;
• minimum care requirements;
• prolonged use;
• external attractiveness.

Although the design may seem fragile in appearance, it will carry a load of up to 100 kg. If a high-quality steel frame is used inside, the permissible mass increases by another 50 kg. At the same time, stiffness does not prevent to adapt to the anatomical features of people and to the position of those sitting in a chair. When natural rattan is used for weaving, the total weight will be about 20 kg.

Synthetic material is somewhat heavier, but the difference is small. Such a gravity can easily hold even on a branch of a tree. And when you need to move the chair to another place or transport it, there is no need to attract movers.

Careful maintenance and maintenance of good conditions allows the use of rattan up to 40 years. As for weaknesses, the wicker swing-egg made of artificial or natural rattan is bad because:

• are expensive;
• inappropriate in many styles (Baroque, Gothic);
• mounted quite difficult;
• occupy a lot of space.

For convenience to use such swings, natural rattan is far ahead. Even if it has not been processed, the appearance will still be attractive. There is no risk of allergy, the staining process is quite easy. But like any wood, natural rattan is damaged by water. Even careful special processing does not allow to guarantee that the armchair standing on the street will retain its qualities for a long time.

Plastic has a large variety of colors, is ideally resistant to various weather conditions, you can wash it without any risk.

But it should be remembered about:

• weak but ineradicable odor;
• somewhat greater mass;
• risk of toxic emissions (if technology is impaired).

Most people prefer artificial rattan. If such a decision is made, it is required to pay attention to the particular features of the particular chair. Classic format implies the presence of the backrest, armrests. The difference from simple floor versions is that there are no legs, and the product is hung from the ceiling. Such furniture is useful primarily for the opportunity to relax.

The variant in the form of a swing - differs from the street counterpart only in great finesse. For leisure, it is not suitable, but children will be happy with such furniture. The disadvantage is that the swing can be put only in the interior of the loft and eco. If the house is decorated differently, you need to abandon this type of chairs, or place them in the garden.
